Community Update

We've been notified that a customer with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) was present at Figtree Grove at the following stores:

 

 

Anyone who attended the above locations at this time is a casual contact and must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

The Centre undergoes a thorough clean each night as part of our regular cleaning regime introduced at the onset of the pandemic to assist in protecting our community and will continue to undertake additional measures following the confirmation of a contact.

We continue to co-operate with NSW Health and will keep all of our customers and retailers informed and provide you with information as we receive updates.

Update: September 17, 2021

Community Update

We have been notified that a team member who works at Coles Figtree has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In accordance with advice from NSW Health, all customers who were at the store between 11:00am and 6:00pm on Wednesday 15th September 2021 are asked to seek a COVID-19 test immediately and isolate until they receive a negative result. Additionally, NSW Health advises that if customers receive a negative test taken before 19th September 2021, they should wear a mask around others and limit their movement until receiving a second negative test result taken on 19th September 2021 or later.

Coles’ standard cleaning procedures comply with the Federal Government’s COVID-19 Hygiene Practices for Supermarkets. Frequent cleaning and sanitisation, as well as a comprehensive deep clean has occurred in the time since the team member was last on site.

Update: September 2, 2021

We've been notified that a customer with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) was present in Coles at Figtree Grove Shopping Centre on Sunday, 29 August from 10:30am to 12pm.

Anyone who attended Coles Figtree Grove at this time is a casual contact and must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

The Centre undergoes a thorough clean each night as part of our regular cleaning regime introduced at the onset of the pandemic to assist in protecting our community and will continue to undertake additional measures following the confirmation of a contact.

We've been notified by NSW Health that a customer with a confirmed case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) was present in Woolworths at Figtree Grove Shopping Centre on Monday July 26 from 12.30pm – 1pm and Tuesday, 27 July from 12:30pm to 1:00pm.

Anyone who attended Woolworths Figtree Grove at this time is a casual contact and must get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result.

The Centre undergoes a thorough clean each night as part of our regular cleaning regime introduced at the onset of the pandemic to assist in protecting our community and will continue to undertake additional measures following the confirmation of a contact.

Update: July 17, 2021. 

On the basis of updated health advice, the following changes come into effect across Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour. 

Retail premises will be required to close (‘click and collect’, takeaway and home delivery can still operate), except the following can remain open:

All other restrictions currently in place across Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour will remain in place.

Update: June 23, 2021.

Following updated health advice from the Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant about the growing risk to the community, the following restrictions will be introduced for Greater Sydney, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour;

These restrictions are designed to reduce the risk of further community transmission.

From 4pm today, 22 June 2021 face masks are mandatory in indoor settings, including Shopping Centres, for the Greater Sydney region (including Wollongong).

We recommend visiting this website and/or follow us on Facebook, for the most up-to-date retailer information and opening hours as these will vary from time to time. 

When it comes to the health and wellbeing of our customers, retail partners and people, we follow the advice of the Australian health authorities.

To encourage customers to follow the advice of health authorities, we have signage displayed throughout the centre, and our centre and security personnel are on hand to assist customers with current restrictions. 

We continue to apply the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Centre, including increased routine cleaning of frequently touched hard surfaces.

If we or our retailers become aware of any confirmed cases of COVID-19 within Figtree Grove, NSW Health will be notified immediately and would then work with our retails and the relevant health authority to support any required public communication and advice on deep cleaning.   

We will continue to follow government and health advice. Customers are kindly reminded to follow COVID-safe protocols when visiting Figtree Grove.
